IF I SEE A PAINTING I LIKE BUT IT'S OUT OF MY BUDGET, CAN I MAKE AN OFFER ON A PAINTING OR ARE ALL PRICES FIXED?
Sure, if you see something you like but it's out of your budget let me know. I understand some people have budgets to stick to and I am happy to listen to sensible offers. Just drop me an email or pick up the phone and call me, all details are on the contact page. I am a friendly chap.
DO YOU TAKE COMMISSIONS?
Short answer is yes, in fact I have done a number of commissions, eg Flight of the Kingfisher, Boy with Red hair, some landscapes. You will have to consider my style and palette when deciding to commission a painting. Drop me a email for a non committal chat on what you would like and budget. 😉👍
How did you find your style? it seems so unusual, i've not seen that style before.
It's kind of developed over the years and seems to be settling as you see it now. This style feels most natural to me and I love it.
I also have an eye sight disorder called CSR. When it is at its worst it causes my vision to distort, kind of adds to how I see things and why I twist and distort my images. I have many creative influences such as the emotional creativity of Jenny Saville, Francis Bacon, Paula Rego and the imagination of Salvador Dali, the use of colour like Matisse and Cezanne, Van Gogh. I also take inspiration from contemporary street art.

If you live near Hertford, where my studio is, or if you are willing to travel, you are well come along to view any piece you wish. However, I do offer a 14 day return should you receive a painting or print and not be happy with it, just to offer a little peace of mind.

Yes of course, I often get students send me over questionnaires to help with their education. Happy to help.
I'm not sure about buying art over the internet, there are so many scams going around, can i come and buy direct from you in person?
Yes of course, I take every effort to try and ensure you are comfortable with my site and trust is top of the list, however I am realistic and understand this is still a website and I am still a 'stranger'. So yes please do come along to my studio and buy direct, I am happy to meet you in person. (kind of better in some ways really, I prefer to meet my collectors too).
